A mutant calf, born with two sets of mouth, eyes and nose, in India’s Rajasthan has emerged as a local attraction. The calf was born early Wednesday morning in the northern state’s Udaipur district.

Since its birth, villagers have flocked in numbers to Nagaji Gondolia Lohar’s house to witness the bizarre animal. The owner of the calf is a blacksmith in profession.

The calf is reportedly doing well, despite its physical abnormalities.

According to videos which have emerged of the calf, it was seen resting on a cot, while a group of excited onlookers examined the mutant animal.

The birth has also shocked a number of villagers.

However, this isn’t the first case of a mutant calf being born in India. In fact, another bovine with the same deformities was born in Assam in 2016.

The birth had perplexed vets and locals. Even though doctors predicted a premature end for the calf, it somehow managed to survive.

Being born with two heads will possibly restrict the animal’s movement, as the head is expected to be heavier than usual.
