While on a shift on February 11, the driver of the government-owned bus realised that his brakes had stopped working as he approached a toll plaza at Pimpalner near Dhule in southwestern Maharashtra.

To make matters worse, he was speeding towards a car which had slowed down to pay the toll.

Thinking quickly he made a sharp turn and drove his bus over the payment to spare the car and also managed to cross the toll plaza without hitting anyone.
