Primary school children in Filton, south Gloucestershire, catch sight of the Airbus Beluga XL, which made its maiden flight to the UK today (February 14) from Toulouse, France.

The aircraft has flown over the Airbus UK factory in Filton followed by the Severn Bridge and is to land at Hawarden airport near the company’s factory in Flintshire.

A spokesperson from Airbus said: “We are very much looking forward to seeing XL land in Broughton for the first time and are conscious that members of the public may want to witness the historic occasion too.”
