This Vietnamese in Tuyen Quang Province sees locals trying to catch fish with their bare hands in a lake.

Footage captured on February 16 shows festival goers strolling through the water as they search for fish.

The participant who catches the biggest fish wins the game. This year’s winner managed to catch a 7kg (15 pounds) fish.

The unique festival takes place every year and is celebrated to wish for good health and a productive harvest.

This festival is usually held every year on the 10th day of the 1st lunar month. Festival with the meaning of good health and good harvest.
The organizers have released more than three tons of fish into two lakes with an area of 4,000 m2 and 50cm depth. The number of participants is unlimited. Participants must not use any tools they must use their hands to catch fish.
The one who catches the biggest fish will win the prize. The person who catches the fish the fastest will also get the prize from the organizers.
The festival ended with the largest fish caught weighing 7 kg.
