Bunny copes with loss of mate by trying to hump it
A Good Samaritan in Kansas stopped his car to rescue a rabbit mourning its dead friend in the middle of the road, but was left shocked when the bunny tried to hump its deceased mate.
Edgar Gonzalez was driving through Emporia city in Lyon County when he discovered the roadkill and jumped out of his car - stopping traffic - to move the corpse and to make sure the live rabbit would not get hurt.
Gonzalez can be heard saying in the video: "[His] homie passed away and he ain't leaving his side."
"I know it probably hurts but we gotta get out of the road, G. Awww man, bro I’m sorry, I’m sorry bro," Gonzalez says, who is audibly moved by the sad sight. "I'm sorry bro, just know I didn't do it."
In touching commentary, Gonzalez continues: "Yeah, you ain't leaving your homie's side bro, oooooh man that's sad, G
. F**k that's sad."
Gonzalez moves the dead rabbit to the side of the road and that's when things take a surprising turn, with the live bunny attempting to mount its dead pal.
A surprised Gonzalez exclaims: "What you doing, what you doing? You humping the n*****! GOD DAMN YOU A SAVAGE my n*****!"
The footage was captured on February 15.
