CCTV captures armed robbery at a jewellery store in Guangdong Province
Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of an armed robbery at a jewellery store in Guangdong Province on Sunday.
The video shows the masked robber, armed with a gun and a hammer, threatening staff in the shop and smashing into glass display cases.
According to local news reports, the shop lost 180,000 yuan (29,304 US dollars) worth of jewellery.
The robber was arrested by police at a nearby hostel on Monday.
No injuries were reported.
