The bike make was identified as a Royal Enfield, a sturdy two-wheeler. The car was a Honda Civic.

According to the footage, it is not clear if the rider was wearing a helmet or not.

Bike accidents are very common in India. According to figures, around 15 lives are lost in the country every hour due to bike accidents. Most of these occur due to riders not wearing helmets.
