Heavy fire rips through beautiful 7,000 square ft mansion in Weston, Connecticut

WESTON, CT - Shortly after 9:00pm on February 10, 2019, the Weston Fire Department was dispatched to 103 Good Hill Road for a reported structure fire. First companies on scene found heavy fire showing from the D-Side of a 7,000 sq. ft. private home. The fire quickly extended and ended up going through the roof shortly after. Companies from Wilton, Westport, and Georgetown provided mutual aid. It was reported that a man, two children, and their dog made it to safety before FD arrival. The home was estimated to be worth $2 million. This was the towns largest fire in 15 years.
