People of Barru Regency in Indonesia have their particular way to have oyster. Located on the eastern coast of Sulawesi Island, most people live from from fisheries. Beside go fishing as fisherman, many of the local people in Barru cultivate brackushwater pond to produce shrimp, milkfish, and oyster. That makes oyster can be served everyday in the area.

To serve that delicious meal, the locals will grill the oyster. They will use dry coconut leafs to rise the temperature from the fire and charcoal. When it is finish, the oyster can be enjuyed with rise and raw mango condiment.
