Pretty (polluted)! Plastic pollution in a tourist hotspot
We hiked to Parit Waterfall in the Cameron Highlands (Malaysia - it was so beautiful but the whole area and surrounding waterways were sadly full of discarded plastic bottles and trash. Whether this is created by hikers or locals (or both) is debateable but it is example of how we need to get our act together which regards to plastic pollution. This was filmed this month (Feb 2019). This is iPhone footage but a slightly different 4K version is also available. I was asked to submit this by a Newsflare employee who saw my post on Twitter.
