AIRBUS A380 in a TURTLE LIVERY departs at Airbus Factory Hamburg Finkenwerder
This is the first Airbus 380 for All Nippon Airways from Japan and I filmed it at Hamburg Finkenwerder. The Airbus departed for a test flight during perfect light conditions and returned to the airbus factory four hours later. Of course I waited for the arrival aswell. There won` t be many chances to see this Airbus in europe again. All Nippon only ordered three A380` s and will use the planes only on the route Tokyo - Honolulu.
That` s why they decided to paint the Airbus A380 in such a special way. Five of the world's seven species of sea turtles make their home in Hawaii's waters. Still kinda surreal to see a hugh turtle on an Airbus A380, but I love it.
