Firefighters Rescue Three From Waterfall Ledge
Firefighters performed a rope rescue to help three people stuck on a ledge at Tew's Falls Friday afternoon.
Crews arrived on scene in Dundas just after 3 p.m. to find them stuck near the falls, said Deputy Fire Chief John Verbeek in an email.
Firefighters rescued all three from the side of the escarpment, the fire department said in a tweet.
Verbeek said none of the people rescued had any apparent injuries but they were being checked out by paramedics.
Crews were expected to clear the scene shortly, he said just before 6 p.m.
