Great Egret Washes Fish Before Eating
If you thought food hygiene is uniquely human than check this out. This Great Egret was filmed washing its catfish prey by Ewan Wilson and two Friends Dan and Sarah. Cameraman Ewan Wilson thought the bird was dropping the fish, but it turns out that this bird was gleaning its meal.
Video was shot in Shark Valley Visitors Centre, Located in the everglades South Florida.
