A little girl called Lucy, in Blackpool, manages to land a quick interview with Prince William on the fringes of his and Kate's Blackpool visit Wednesday.

First, Lucy asks William whether he had been "reading books" in the library, to which he responds "not really ... we were doing a lot of talking in there!"

Lucy then asks if he likes Blackpool, to which he responds in the affirmative, mentioning that he went on the rids and wasn't sick.

"Very candid chat with a royal!" Lucy's mum commented.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited both Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Central Library during their trip.

Our daughter, Lucy waited in the rain outside Blackpool Central Library, during a royal visit on 6th March 2019 and asked Prince William whether he’d been inside reading books, he tells her he’s been listening to people talking about the town. She asks him if he likes Blackpool he replies with yes, he’s been on the rides and wasn’t sick! Very candid chat with a royal.
