A mother in Dorset knitted a crochet jumper for her cat, who was left a little bemused and waddled around in the woven garment to everyone's hysterical laughter.

The hilarious clip, filmed today (March 8), shows the woollen-clad moggy, Chyna, awkwardly walking while wearing a knitted jumper behind the filmer's daughter, not quite able to keep a steady gait.

Eventually Chyna moonwalks backwards to return to the kitchen it had just left, her legs still moving strangely in the jumper sleeves.

As part of an on going joke with a friend I knitted a jumper for our cat Chyna...I had just put it on her and she was walking behind my daughter.
