A mother of a flood victim cried to the Limapuluh Kota District Head because her house and settlement was flooded with a height of one meter, on November 5, 2018. The mother had to leave her house for a temporary evacuation place, because it was not worth living in and was afraid of aftershocks. This flood disaster occurred in Nagari Bukik Sikumpa due to the overflowing of the Batang Sinama River. Floods in this location have often happened, so residents begged the local government to overcome the floods.
