Hundreds of mourners took part today (March 12) in the funeral procession for Musa Mohammad Musa, a Palestinian civilian killed during a protest.

Mourners carried the body of Musa, 23, from Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, to the family home.

Local reports say that Musa was shot by Israeli forces during a protest that had taken place on March 1. He died this morning.

Palestinians marched in the funeral procession of a Palestinian youth, on Tuesday, who succumbed earlier to wounds he had sustained during Gaza’s Mourners carried the body of Musa Mohammad Musa, 23, from Deir al-Balah the central Gaza Strip town of to his family home where final goodbyes were said before prayers and burials at the city’s cemetery.

Medical sources confirming that Musa Mohammad Musa, 23, a resident of the central Gaza Strip town of Deir al-Balah, succumbed to his injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli forces during a protest to the east of al-Breij on March 1st.

Mourners called for an end to the killing of Palestinians at the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip. Musa was the second Palestinian to succumb to his wounds during the last few days.
