A man waiting for a bus in central India miraculously escaped after a pick-up van and truck collided in front of him, narrowly missing him in the carnage.

The incident was caught on CCTV on the morning of March 12, in Dhule district, Maharashtra state. The truck was trying to overtake the state transport bus idling on the road, when it struck the pickup van head-on both flipped around the man standing at the roadside.

The pickup driver died in the accident, while the truck driver survived, while the man on the roadside avoided all injury.
