Panic choas as wild bear enters southern Indian Town, Rescued by forest official.

A wild bear sent panic waves when it strayed into a residential colony in the hilly Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu today.
However, the forest officials with the help of a veterinary doctor, trapped the animal after an eight hour battle.
Forest officials had advised residents of the colony near the municipal market in the heart of the town to remain indoors as the bear was in a ferocious state.
The doctor used a tranquilizer to sedate the animal and trapped it.
Officials said the bear will be set free into the near by mudhumalai forest area.
