In a strange incident, a five year old boy from southeast India triggered a chaos after he was found in the middle of a road, amidst busy traffic, driving his battery driven toy car. He was also lucky to survive any untoward incident.

It took place on Feb. 26 at Benz Circle, one of the busiest junctions in Vijaywada, a city in Andhra Pradesh state.

Visuals from the scene showed commuters towering over the boy, who was seated inside his blue car, unaware of the chaos he had triggered.

Policemen were also seen talking to the boy, who was dressed in a white and yellow t-shirt and a pair of grey half-pants.

It is understood that the law enforcement officers were trying to get the boy to come out of his car, who was adamant and even tried to drive away.

However, he was unable to do so as a policeman block his car by placing his leg in front of the vehicle.

The officers were also seen asking people to move and clear the way. They then lifted the boy, who started to cry and placed him in a tuk-tuk. He was accompanied by a policeman. While the boy was lifted, visuals showed his a portion of right leg, just below the knee, being bandaged.

Reports said the boy drove nearly a kilometre (0.62 miles) before reaching the busy junction.

The boy was later handed over to his mother, who was out looking for him. His parents had not realised that the boy had left the house while playing.
