Dashcam footage from March 14, shows a mobility vehicle narrowing escaping a crash after running a red light in Rugby, UK.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Once the traffic lights turned green I made a right turn.

"As I was making my way around someone on a mobility vehicle suddenly comes out of nowhere and crosses the road when they did not have right of way... resulting in me using fast reflexes to hit the brakes.

"I was very close to hitting the person but thankfully did not."

I was driving my typical daily route, waiting at the lights to turn green. Once they turned green I made the right turn, at which point a couple were still crossing the road who I saw. As I was making my way around someone on a mobility vehicle suddenly comes out of nowhere and crosses the road when they did not have right of way, resulting in me using fast reflexes to hit the brakes and felt the ABS come on. Very close to hitting the person but thankfully did not. This was filmed in Rugby town, UK.
