This is the remarkable moment a skateboarder somehow caught his flying deck after falling.

A video of the crazy moment shows the young man trying to perfect a trick at Newport Beach back in January when he falls doing a wall ride.

His board slides out from under him and rebounds off a curb towards him.

He sticks out a hand out of pure instinct and somehow catches the spinning board.

Devin (The filmer), and I were out skating in Newport Beach to try and film for a video we’ve been working on, and I ended up falling and slipping out while trying a trick. My board bounced up against a pole and was headed toward my face when I reached out my hand to block myself and ended up catching the board to my surprise.
