Dramatic footage shows live trees sliding down the hills onto the road in norther India

A dramatic footage captured the moment landslide stuck a Himalayan hamlet in north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, swallowing the road below.

The incident that happened around 4pm on March 18 in Nehrukhund area of Manali district, severed all the road connectivity to Palchan panchayat.

At the same spot, there have been several landslide with boulders, stones and loose soil rolling down the road in the past three years.

Local people are angry with the administration for not paying attention to this landslide-prone point.

But yesterday, tall trees adorning the hills came sliding down along with the debris.

The landslide left dozens of tourists stranded in the Ujha valley.
