In this heartwarming video, a woman is seen feeding two baby birds, reported as abandoned. The incident took place in Uthaninuagaon village in Mayurbhanj district in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. The video was filmed on March 18.

According to the footage, the woman is seen feeding the newborn birds with one hand, while holding them with the other hand. The birds slowly pick the morsels from the tip of her fingers.

Reports said, the woman, who was identified as Sasmita Gochhayat, rescued the two abandoned baby birds from a road side bush and took them to her home. She then cared for them like her own children.

The birds are lucky to survive, as they could have been eaten alive by cats, who prey on the winged creatures.

According to the woman's husband Krushna Gochhayat, who is also an animal lover animal lover and rescuer, his wife's decision to care for the birds made him proud.

"I feel really proud of my wife. She is doing a lot for these babies and decided to free them in air when they will be capable to fly," he said.
