US Teacher experiences thanksgiving in China
A video has emerged from China of a teacher from the US observing his students trying out Thanksgiving traditions for the first time.
In the footage, captured by the teacher at his school in Qingdao, Shandong Province on Wednesday, the students string cranberries together and kick a pumpkin across a floor.
The filmer provides a wry commentary throughout the video, remarking on the strangeness of his students’ approach to the activities.
“I live and teach in China, and some students invited me to their Thanksgiving celebration. A few times during the festivities, students looked at me and asked, ‘Is this what you do in the US?’” he later wrote online.
