Road rage stand off on a London street
On the evening of March 20th at approximately 19:30 whilst reading a bedtime story to my 5 year old, I was startled by a loud bang followed by car horns tooting and people shouting. I rushed to the door and saw some kind of an altercation by two motorists who appear to have made contact with each others car and possibly a parked car in the street. Local residents rushed to calm the situation down as lewd comments were exchanged loudly between the two motorists in the what once was a quiet street a few moments earlier. (Ironically both parties were unable to get out of their vehicles) Eventually local residents were able to diffuse the situation but not before these two selfish motorists coursed a disturbance amongst the residential area first awaking the residents from a relaxing evening. I was very pleased that i did not park on the street. I aslo recall a member of the public attempting to push one of the cars away just to move them on!
