Thousands of mourners participated in a funeral procession to honour two Palestinians killed in a shooting carried out by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday (March 19).

Footage captured in Raficia today (March 21) shows mourners carrying the bodies of Ra'ed Hamdan and Zaid Nouri wrapped in Palestinian flags.

Israeli forces said that explosives were hurled from a car as Jewish worshippers visited the Joseph Tomb’s site in the city of Nablus.

As a response, the troops open fire, killing the two Palestinians in the vehicle.

The funeral procession was held in front of the Rafidia Governmental Hospital, in a military funeral, in which the Palestinian security forces took part. The funeral was held in the center of Nablus, where the funeral prayers were held for the two martyrs.



The mourners chanted slogans condemning the assassination of young people in cold blood. The mourners also demanded an appropriate response to every crime committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people, demanding the world to intervene to stop the occupation and its exploitation in the blood of the Palestinians.



The Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the vehicle in which the two young men were traveling, Hamdan and Nouri, at al-Ghawi junction in Amman Street, east of Nablus, which led to their immediate death.
