This is the heart-warming moment a massive crowd makes way for an ambulance.

The incident occurred at Mannarkkad in South India on March 21 during a popular local festival.

Thousands of devotees of a popular local temple had gathered to celebrate the annual seven-day long festival, ‘Mannarkkad Pooram,’ in Palakkad district, Kerala.

As the huge religious procession snaked through narrow streets of the town, an ambulance carrying a critical patient was spotted at one end of the road.

As if on cue, the crowd parted in the middle making way for the ambulance to pass.

Eyewitnesses said the crowd reacted so fast, the ambulance could drive comfortably without slowing down to reach the hospital.

Mannarkkad town is famous for the annual festival organised by the Sree Arakurissi Udayarkunnu Bhagavathy temple.
