A stray bull smashed through a crowd of onlookers at a political speech, injuring several in northern India.

Footage shows the moment a bull charges through a crowd attending a BJP rally in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh state, trampling some onlookers in shock.

Security officers rushed to the spot and managed to capture the bull.

At least seven people were injured by the bull's rampage, local media reported.
