The incident was filmed on March 26 in Shansha village, Located in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district.

Powdery snow slowly descended from the higher altitude and covered part of the already snow-clad village.

As the avalanche struck, a man was heard saying 'wow' in Hindi a few times. A voice was heard telling others to move back to safety as a copious amount of snow started to roll down.

No casualties were reported, though it may have exacerbated the already worsening transport as snow has blocked the roads.
