An employee had to tap a new Huawei P30 phone against a door handle repeatedly to try unlock an Audi A8 at an unveiling event in Paris, France.

The €100,000 car not quite being unlocked by the €1,000 phone was shot on Tuesday (March 26) while according to the filmer: "The unlocking procedure works with a handful of Audi's most expensive models, as an alternative to the key fob."

An online news website states the phone not only can unlock your car but also allows the user to check how much gas is in the tank, how long until an oil change is needed, and how many more miles the car has until the next inspection.

In the Huawei P30 unveiling event in Paris, France, I recorded one employee of the company trying to unlock an Audi A8 with the new €1,000 phone.
