Baby teachers give lessons in empathy to UK elementary school pupils
Meet Britain's youngest teachers - the babies who are visiting elementary school pupils and helping them learn about empathy.
Once a fortnight, three babies who are all the children of teachers at Ardgowan Primary School in Greenock, Inverclyde in southwest Scotland are brought into school to meet pupils aged six and seven.
The tiny tots, the oldest of which is only 10 months old, "teach" the schoolchildren, who are able to see the babies grow and develop, and learn about empathy, understanding and responsibility.
The youngest baby is little Ada Roberston, aged three months, who’s mother Lana teaches Year 2 children and is on maternity leave, along with the two other mums.
