Bombardier Beetle Test Fire Video 3

Buy video

This is a clip not included in my edited version, but this clip shows the beetle squirting its spray forward as I grab its front legs.

Also, the beetle does seem to be petering out as its squirts are not as audible as before, and did not hurt at all when I let it squirt me.

This video was taken a few days after the first two, so the beetle may have been tired from not eating (though I had included some feeder food bugs in it container in between), or the feeder bugs (baby crickets and a mealworm) may have been a target for its spray, so the beetle simply may not have had much left.

It appears the beetle did eat the baby crickets, so it is hard to know, but what is certain is that its firing was no where near as powerful as when first tested.
