A plane taking off from Manchester Airport almost disappears as clouds of condensation forms around its wings.

The footage taken in late June 2017 shows the air around the wings of the plane turning into vapour, forming clouds.

These clouds are caused by a reduction in air pressure created by the wings. This then cools the air making the surrounding water vapour visible.

The filmer later told Newsflare: "The amazing condensation was good enough for me. But to top it off, there was even a bit of cloud cutting, caused by the wake turbulence of the aircraft, something you don't see every day."

Wake turbulence refers to the disturbance in the atmosphere that forms behind an aircraft as it passes through the air.

As per Quora.com: In certain atmospheric conditions and during certain stages of flight clouds appear to form on top of the aircraft wing, as seen in this video. Why does this happen? "Clouds form when moist air is cooled to a temperature below it's dew-point. When an aircraft wing produces lift the air pressure over the top of the wing is reduced. As a result of this the air temperature reduces as well.".This can cause previously invisible water vapour to condense into visible water droplets and these clouds on the wing. The amazing condensation was good enough for me. But to top it off, there was even a bit of cloud cutting, caused by the wake turbulence of the aircraft, something you don't see every day. Moments later, the aircraft can be seen through the hole in the cloud that had just been created by the wake! The condensation, the cloud cutting and then the plane passing through the hole in the cloud...that's why it is one of my favourite clips I've ever filmed!
