A wild elephant emerged from the bushes to chase a tourist vehicle on a rural road in south India yesterday (April 1).

The incident took place while the vehicle was travelling fm Udagamandalam to Adhivasi village in Tamil Nadu state, when the group was chased by a wild elephant for some distance.

There is currently a drought in the Masinakudi forest area near Udagamandalam, causing many wild animals to travel searching for water and greenery.

Reportedly a group of wild elephants crossed the road in Masinapalli near to Adhivasi village and entered the Mudumalai Forest Tiger sanctuary, when they were interrupted by the passing tourist vehicle.

After the rest of the herd crossed, one female elephant broke off to suddenly chase the tourists, terrifying the whole group.

In Udagamandalam when the vehicles were going to Adhivasi village interrupted and chased long distance by a wild Elephant. This incident prevailed tensioned among peoples.There is a drought condition in Masinakudi near Udagamandalam. In day time the heat of Sun increased than normal time. Hence the surrounding area of Masinakudi forest area are in drought condition. Wild animals migrated for the need of water and Green eatables. In this situation a group of wild Elephants have tried to cross the road in Masinapalli near by Mavalla to semmanatham Adhivasi village and entered into Mudumalai Forest Tiger sanctuary. When the group of elephants interrupted the vehicles were going on the way. In this incident people's were feared and tensioned. After an small interval the elephants gave way to vehicles and entered into Forest. After sending all the elephants one female elephant suddenly chased the vehicles long distance and tried to attack the vehicles . In this incident which creates fearness and tensioned among peoples.
