The dancing horse of Lopburi
This is a hilarious footage of a horse that appears to be dancing, in step with the rest of the troupe that it is part of.
The Myanmarese-origin people’s contingent, part of the annual Lopburi parade of 2018, was predominantly made up of women, dressed in fine clothes, with flowers in their hair. They moved forward gracefully, dancing to the steady rhythm of the drumbeats and cymbals of the band behind them.
One of the horses behind the band, which walked normally initially, later seemed to be so much caught up in the moment and the surroundings, that it appeared to be dancing too, much to the amusement of her rider.
A second horse that continued to walk normally provided a stark contrast to the dancing horse.
