Herds of elephants are roaming in the forest area in search of water near Coimbatore.... after the dusk we can witnesses a herd of elephants roaming near the adjoining forest villages of the Western ghats area In Coimbatore. They roam in search of food and water. As the mercury touches high and the failure of monsoon left water bodies dried. And the search of water made the elephant s to travel to a long distance once such incident happened in the Ganga Chamber of Coimbatore... A herd comprising 9 elephants came to drink water in the Ganga Chamber and it was captured on camera by a villager over there. And the villagers also requested the forest department officials to fill all the water tanks with water as the wild animals will quench their thirst
