This is the terrifying moment a scooter pulls out into the middle of a busy road only to be smashed into by an oncoming scooter careening down the road on March 22 in Nagercoil in the Tamil Nadu

Footage shows the incident caught on CCTV as the driver of the stationary scooter waits for cars to pass before pulling out. The driver then inches out into the busy road but the oncoming scooter has no time to stop and ploughs straight into the stationary scooter.

Debris is thrown all over the road and both passengers are sent flying off their scooters. People in the nearby market stalls immediately come rushing out to help the people involved in the incident.

A scooter rider had a miracle escape after she was hit at full speed by another biker. This shocking video shows the female biker pull out on to a road but before she can turn she was smashed into by another rider. The pair tumbled down the road and she was dragged from her bike - but miraculously only had to spend two days in hospital. Footage shows the other rider get up from his bike and stagger to the side of the road, in Nagercoil in the Tamil Nadu state of southern India, on March 22. A local source said: "As soon as the bystanders saw the mishap unfold right in front of their eyes, they ran to their rescue.
