Taxi driver caught on camera watching 'hardcore' porn while driving through Bangkok
A bungling taxi driver was caught on camera watching hardcore pornography on his dashboard while he was driving.
Natthakarn Khaolamoon, 40, was in the yellow and green cab in Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday (April 2) when he turned on the adult clip.
Even though it’s common - and perfectly legal in the country - for drivers to watch TV shows and movies on the road, playing explicit videos are banned.
One shocked road used noticed the adult movie while they were riding a motorcycle behind the taxi in slow moving traffic.
Footage shows a small tablet screen pinned to the left of the steering wheel with a man and woman appearing to have sex.
Video of the incident sparked outrage and the taxi driver was hauled in for questioning by furious regulators.
The female filmer of the clip, Nong Toei, 25, lives in London but was returning home to see her family in her native country when she noticed the taxi.
She said: ‘’I made the video because I want to warn women who like to take a taxi. If you go alone at night it can be dangerous. You should try to take a taxi with friends. There are good taxi drivers and bad taxi drivers but passengers should take care to protect themselves.’’
The shamed taxi driver Natthakarn was interrogated by taxi licensing bosses at the Land Transport Department.
He was fined 1,000 baht fine and sent on a three-hour training course on driving discipline.
