This is the heartwarming moment a frightened kitten, meowing at the bottom of a well, is saved in Indonesia on April 5.

Footage shows the filmer lowering a bucket on a string into a well as we hear the distressed kitten meowing. When the bucket reaches the kitten we see it is perched on a tiny ledge trying to avoid the water.

The kitten knows exactly what to do and clings on to the bucket which is very carefully retracted back to the surface. The water logged little cat then leaps off and runs out into the sun.

The till skittish kitten starts licking itself clean from the dirty water. In a double attack of heart string pulling one of the kittens friends comes over and helps out with the cleaning process.

This was the moment when I quickly saved my kitten fallen into the tub.

The footage filmed on Friday (April 5) in Bukittinggi, Indonesia, began when I heard a splashing sound from the tub behind my house.

I thought the sound came from a cat that fell into tub. And it turned out right, I saw my tiny 3 month old kitten at the bottom of the tub.

The female kitten trying to get out by climbing the wall and she was completely under for a moment.

But luckily, a shallow pool of water in a tub won't make the kitten sink immediately.

I called her so she knew that I would help right away. Then I took the laced bucket used to draw water, and put the bucket into the tub and held it close to the kitten.

This clever kitten entered the bucket and was slowly evacuated from the tub.

Once safe, the kitten immediately ran outside and dried himself.

At that time the yellow-haired kitten who was his brother came licking his body to help it dry quickly.
