A cute video has emerged from Taiwan of a giant panda cub trying to climb a door in its enclosure in Tapei Zoo.

The adorable bear, named ‘Yuan Zai’, can be seen dangling from a window and jumping off the ground as she tries to gain access to an adjoining room.

According to the filmer, the 17-month-old cub became excited when she saw her keepers through the window in the door.

Yuan Zai is the first giant panda cub to be born in Taiwan.

Her parents, ‘Tuan Tuan’ and ‘Yuan Yuan’ were given to Taiwan as a gift by mainland China in 2008.
