This is the shocking moment a vehicle owner bravely fought back against knife-wielding thugs after being stabbed in a terrifying carjacking attempt on his doorstep in Coventry.

Ryan Walsh, 24, was attacked from behind by masked thieves who pulled up outside his property on a moped on Sunday evening (April 7).

The 24-year-old was walking to his front door when one of the crooks approached him with a blade and demanded the keys to his black Fiat 500 hatchback.

The dramatic footage shows Ryan fighting off the criminals and at one point he drags one of the thugs from his car and onto the road.

As they try to escape on their motorbike a group of men chase after the pair.
