Elephant cools off during hot day in Cambodia by going for a swim
Elephants were seen cooling off in a river during a hot day at the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary in Siem Reap, northwestern Cambodia, on April 4.
The water, which is part of a dam, is a short stroll from their natural habitat in the jungle, and video of the scene shows an elephant completely submerging itself underwater while enjoying the cooling sensation.
The filmer said: ''When it's a hot day here, the elephants spend their time grazing. They'll walk down to the dam and have a paddle to cool off. It's a sight not to be missed.''
