An unusual video has emerged of a curious cat climbing a ferret cage.

In the footage, captured by the cat’s owner at their home in Edmonton, Canada, ‘Willis’ can be seen nimbly ascending three metal cages in order to spy on the pet ferret.

“My cat does this whenever he wants to see my ferret” his owner later wrote online.

“He does this maybe about once a week when we’re home... who knows what goes on otherwise!”
