These incredible pictures show two male hippos clashing in an epic riverside fight - as they battle it out for a female mate. The images capture the fierce stand-off between a resident bull marking its territory and a new male interested in a near-by group of females. The two aggressive hippos in Botswana were seen baring their teeth and swinging their heads at each other in an effort to dominate the territory. The photos were taken by Caron Steele, 54, from Worcestershire, during a flat bottomed photography boat tour on the River Chobe.
