These motorcyclists had a treacherous ride home - through a deadly dust storm that killed five people. The road users were engulfed by the storm after it hit the city of Karachi in Pakistan on April 14. At least five people were killed in the phenomenon while up to 100 more were injured. Pakistan Meteorological Department director Sardar Sarfaraz said the ''dust storm was stronger than expected''. He added: ''Winds blew at a speed of 40mph and reduced the visibility to 500m.'' The storm continued for another three days with powerful winds and heavy rain across northern India and Afghanistan. Dozens more people were later killed or injured before it eventually subsided on April 18.
