Tonight in Grimsby Ontario, The Grimsby Fire Department along with Lincoln Fire Department were called to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital tonight for a Alarm System activated in the Emergency Room area. As the dispatch was going through, staff called and indicated that there was either smoke or a smell of smoke in the Emergency Room. The call was upgraded requesting additional equipment to the scene. As crews investigated, other emergencies were taking place. A Ambulance was transporting a patient to the Emergency Room and was held up slightly while going to the ER. Other patients were also going to the ER and had slight delays but were allowed in to be treated. Crews continued to investigate and eventually came up short with nothing found.
