Man slips while boarding moving train, perishes to death in central India
A man died while getting on a train in central India. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed at a train station near Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
Visuals showed a large number of commuters waiting to board a train as it approaches the platform. The train had not yet stopped when a few people tried to board it, in order to find a place to sit.
Unfortunately, the man slipped and fell.
Though it is not clear from the video alone, reports in the local media suggested he perished to his death.
The deceased has not yet been identified.
Such incidents happen from time to time in India, where the train is the preferred mode of transport.
