This is the dramatic moment shoppers run for cover as a second earthquake hit the Philippines today (April 23).

The 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked the town of Catarman in Northern Samar region this afternoon.

One employee was wounded in the supermarket when the glass shattered as she tried to run out of the building.

Officials said there were four injuries and minor damage after the tremors, which followed a deadly quake in the north of the country the day before.

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the earthquake caused power interruptions in Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Calbayog City, and Leyte.
