Driver Exploring Town In Night Day - Street Viral Videos

Don’t drive much in adverse conditions for a while. I’m not saying to never do it, but for example, rain can make a tremendous difference in visibility of road features. If you’re a little bit uncomfortable driving in dry, light conditions, on a dark and rainy night you will have a lot more to process and mess up. And if you do, drive on roads you’re famaliar with.

Be aware of other cars, and always assume that they may do something unexpected. This is part of being vigilant. One example of this is simple. If you are in the right lane on a 3 lane road, and someone else is in the left lane at your side, and you want to change to the middle lane, you can drive more safely by not changing lanes until that other car is not at your side. With time and experience you will learn to predict what other drivers will do, but this is a skill that takes time to develop.

Be predictable. Don’t change lanes suddenly. Use your blinkers. Let it blink a few times, look, and gradually and smoothly change lanes. This will give other drivers time to react to you if you make a mistake.
